Until my 300l in school, I didn’t have the boldness to tell people I was studying an AGRICULTURAL course.
How do I explain that I’m no longer in my medical line. I had already secured an admission to study MEDICAL LABORATORY SCIENCES which I forfeited for a reason (story for another day), and few persons around me knew the first but were not aware of the later.
While in school, the intimidation from students in other departments , always enquiring from me what I’ll be doing after studying SOIL SCIENCE.
The fact that most of us AGRICULTURE students were involuntarily transferred from our various prospective courses to Agric departments by the School Administration itself , made it even look like we were academically dull and Agriculture was bycut to acquiring a degree certificate.
If I had known earlier what treasure I had in a course, I would have long risen in the pursuit of my Agricultural career……….
Do you think you’ll love to belong to a functioning AGRICULTURE community as a student/ graduate? Let’s share experiences and aid growth.
It’s AGRICULTURE for a reason; to nurture nature’s beauty 🥰.
