And in my country it is a societal norms that men should suppress their emotions and maintain a tough exterior ( we call it steeze he must not reduce his steeze )
While women are given to crying inside and outside they are expected to be more emotional .Funny enough in my society men are not permitted to cry but I want us to know that
Men do cry
Women cry too (it is given )
Emotions are universal
Vulnerability is strengthIt is essential to loud it that
– emotions are natural
– crying is a therapeutic release
– vulnerability is courage
– men can express emotions without losing their authority or masculinity
– encourage open conversationsWe should listen to both sides
We are wired differently
As we advocate we will continue to strive to balance our viewsMen too are humans
Just like us.Tears are words the heart can’t express
