Do not be so excited about the return of a former
friendship or relationship that you forget how they left.
They may only be returning because they were not accepted where they went.
Their return is not necessarily because they love you.
The Prodigal Son did not return because he loved his father. He returned because he was hungry.
The loyalty of a broke friend may break you when tested.
Stop re-friending snakes who were rejected by the
brood they tried to join.
No matter how much love you show a snake it will still bite you.
