*Strange but true.*

Business tycoons Chamberlain and Lynch sold their company *Autonomy* to HP in 2011 for $11b. There soon followed a lawsuit charging both men for multiple frauds. After over a decade in courts, both were cleared of fraud charges in June 2024.

Lynch invited his lawyers and family to celebrate on his superyatch in Palermo, Italy, where a freak storm caused the yatch to capsize, killing Lynch and daughter and a few others, on Monday.

Meanwhile, his partner Chamberlain, in the UK, was hit by a car while out jogging on Saturday, he died in hospital on Monday, same day as Lynch.
