Self care is also self love
Which literally means prioritizing oneself above every other thingIt is an essential part of one habit in maintaining physical , emotional and mental well being
When we prioritize our self care , it reduces stress and anxiety , it improves mental clarity and increase focus , it helps boost our mood and energy , it improves our coping skills and supports our overall health and well being, for a sick body cannot perform to optimal level .It is important to prioritize and plan our self care routine into our schedules this help in achieving our set goals in totality .
For us to be able to achieve this we can create a plan as suggested earlier with this :
– set boundaries ( people should learn to respect your space and it’s only you that can set that and pass it on )– learn to say NO : It used to be difficult for me but now I can easily say no because I need to say No when I mean to say No , unlik before where I am always considerate of others before me .
– invest in yourself : self development is my latest past time and I am enjoying it .
– make self care an habit : Life was always about people , and I come last but I thank God for the new realization which clearly sink in , that you can only give what you have and I have to be full to give something .
– schedule self care time : My me time is no longer negotiable for I almost loss my life neglecting myself for the sake of others .
– chose activities that bring joy and relaxation : it is a zero time for any form of negativity
I now abhor such so my life is just about me and what makes me happy and comfortableIt’s good to note that self care is a journey not a destination
It is a process that is continuous
So prioritizing yourself which is the new norm is a very necessary act for living a happy , healthy and fulfilling lifeI care

Self care is very important. Without adequate self care others cannot take you serious.
