EFFECTS OF UNDERMINING THE ROLE OF A VET DOCTOR

One of the highly underrated course in Nigeria is Vetinary science. A department in the university which produces Vetinary doctor, Vetinary nurse ,vetinary assistant, and Vetinary technicians. As a result- animal owners unawareness of veterinarians duties owning to little information sold to the general populace about this noble profession and how to seek care for animals, over 30,000 animals dies daily in Nigeria alone.
For the edification of readers of this article- A vetinary technician observe the behavior and condition of animals. Provide nursing care and emergency first aid to recovering animals or injured animals. A vet technologist or technician is responsible for bathing animals, cutting claws, cutting animal hairs and brushing animal hairs
The course is so highly underrated to an extent when you hear a long list of vet doctors operational care on a dog, a camel and or a goat- you’d be left in awe!
The list of what vet doctors does is unending; you can’t help to trim it.Education is an important leverage. Go school o.
For those who keep animals don’t do a mistake of letting your animal die(kpai) without taking it for adequate care- medically.

Thank you for this wonderful contribution. It is true that we need vet doctors and technicians to care for our animals. Imagine that the 30,000 animals that die daily are properly cared for. It will boost the economy of the farmers that own them.

I agree with you. Nobody dey reason vet but they re very important . Vet Dr should not be underrated.
