Act One, Scene One
The family is in high spirit. Dad got home early today has usual. He picked up the kids from school as usual. He just announced to the kids that Mom got a promotion so ‘We are all going out tonight to celebrate’!
The spirit is high. Everyone is filled with expectations. This means more money in the house, more activities and vacations.
