Hydroponic system of farming
This is a system of farming that requires not the use of soil or less use of soil.
The major work of the soil is to provide support to the plants and provide nutrients too. What the hydroponic does is to provide this 2 purpose of the soil and totally or partially replace the soil.In hydroponic the roots of the plants are suspended in water that contains the required nutrients and cocopeat or any growing medium is used to hold the plan firm, so while the plant stand erect the roots taps nutrients from the water. That’s for this pic I posted. There are different systems of hydroponic, some are drip… The nutrients water is a tank and gradually drip into the container or bag holding the plants to 1. Irrigate the plant 2. Supply nutrients.
This system enable farmers to farm crops anywhere and year round. In hydroponic system there is no season of farming, you can grow crops year round.
The crops grown in this system does better than conventional system of farming by far. Reason for this: Their required nutrients are readily available, irrigation is constant, there is little weeds or no weeds at all to compete with nutrients.
Very easy and simple to set up.
Ask questions where you don’t understand. This is just a brief explanation to what hydroponic is. There are different systems in it. You just have to pick the one that you can afford to set up.
