Governor Sheriff Oborevwori announced on Wednesday that Orerokpe Technical College in Okpe Local Government Area will be converted into a campus for the Faculty of Management Sciences of the University of Science and Technology, Ozoro, while inspecting ongoing construction at the college. He added that the Ministry of Technical Education will transfer the facilities to the Ministry of Higher Education to facilitate the seamless launch of the new faculty.
Emphasizing the importance of expanding educational opportunities, Governor Oborevwori highlighted the need for additional universities to accommodate qualified Deltans seeking admission. He also mentioned that the Orerokpe Campus of the University of Science and Technology would be completed by October this year.

It most not always be in our favor. Remember faculty of law and engineering was moved from Abraka to isoko. Ozoro university turned into full fledged university.
