RejiG for Healthy Brain Function and Activity

    Francis Akenami, PhD
There is growing concern regarding the impact of social media on mental health. Behavioral health experts have demonstrated that social media usage contributes to various mental health issues in children, such as attention deficit disorders, hallucinations, and suicidal ideation. During a recent meeting between the US Congress and major tech executives, Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook, was compelled to apologize to families for the harm caused by Facebook and Instagram to children.
As a response to these concerns, the RejiG Brain App, developed by neuroscientists and mental health experts, serves as part of the solution. Engaging in healthy brain games through the app has the potential to foster new neuronal synapses essential for maintaining a healthy brain function and activity.
The app features a series of self-help games and puzzles designed for users to interact with one another and compare results. The intention is to encourage, reinforce, and occasionally sanction specific actions or decisions. A portion of the app’s sales will be allocated to supporting mental health education, research, and overall well-being.
